The dual Group 1 winning Champion 2 year old, VANDEEK, has had his first two mares scanned in foal. The first being the winning and dual Group 3 placed Kenlova, a half sister to the Stakes winner, Lova and Stakes performer, Lovamour. The second mare scanned in foal was So Claire, who is from the same family as last season’s Group 1 Qipco British Champions Sprint Stakes winner, Kind Of Blue, as well as the Group 1 winner The Tin Man and Deacon Blues.

As part of Cheveley Park Stud’s policy of supporting their own stallions, VANDEEK has been patronised by a selection of mares from their high quality broodmare band, as well as by many other leading European breeders. Mares visiting VANDEEK in 2025 include the Stakes winners and Stakes producers Integral, Zykina, Shang Shang Shang, Alwasmiya, Adorn, Osipova, Crown, Heaven Sent, Hadeeya, and Canonized, to name but a few.

Cheveley Park Stud Managing Director, Chris Richardson said; ‘Domestic and European breeders have strongly embraced Vandeek as a truly exciting stallion prospect, who has an excellent first book of quality mares, and all the connections are delighted that he has had two mares successfully scanned in foal’.

VANDEEK’s fee for 2025 is £15,000 (1st October, Special Live Foal Terms).
